Dimasa people at a relief camp in Maibong, some 74 km from Haflong, headquarter of North Cachar Hills district, on July 2, 2009. Over 5000 Dimasa and Zeme Naga people have taken shelter in 13 relief camps in the district. Sixtyfour people have been killed and more than 900 houses destroyed by militants in the district in last four months.
