Corridor work

Labourers work on the four-lane East-West Corridor on the Lumding-Silchar road at Hatikhali in North Cachar Hills district, Assam on July 17, 2009. The Rs 800 crore mega project has been delayed due to militancy and security problems in the hills district. Four construction companies have already quit from the construction due to the security problem in the district this year.
